  Twin Peaks: The Abandoned Town
 No one really knew how or why the once thriving town of Twin Peaks was abandoned. Every once in a while, an old timer would return, hoping to find things as they always were only to find the streets and businesses empty. On further investigation even the houses were uninhabited. One of those old timers was Adrian Sloane. He went to TPHS with Laura Palmer. One day she just disappeared. No one knew why, but it was around February 23, 1989. A few others say she was murdered, found on a rocky beach wrapped in plastic. If Sloane had been a casual observer, he would have noticed the change in the summer of 2017. First, Sarah Palmer, Leland Palmer's widow left town, leaving the house empty. Then the Log Lady passed away followed by former town Sheriff Harry Truman. Catherine Martell sold the Mill which eventually went out of business and closed. Covid-19 wreaked havoc on the town. A quarter of the town got sick and died. Ben Horne sold his store and...
